Coupons Galore!

Do you like to save a little bit of money wherever you can? I know I do. Couponing has always been one of my favorite hobbies and honestly a major stress relief for more. Doesn't make sense, right? Couponing is nerve wrecking, how can it be stress free? While it's stressful, it's a different kind of stress. I love watching the total continuously go up, but once you put those magical little coupons in, the total goes back down! Sometimes, I end up with so much of one thing and not enough of another and you have to know when to balance it out. You have 6,000 body care products, but didn't get anywhere for food. Strategy, patience, practice, and persistence! 

Right now, I have a little secret, if you need something specific, send some positive (or negative) feedback to a company that you would like coupons for, clarify what you want or you'll end up with random coupons,but most will send you some good coupons, sometimes even FREEBIES! So far, this is what I have received.

(Two) $1 off one Purina brand dry or semi moist pet food coupons and (Two) $2 off one 72 ounce or larger coupons.

(Three) $.25 off one Blistex coupons with NO EXPIRATION DATE!! Super rare to have coupons with no expiration date at all!

(Three) $.50 off one Chobani yogurt product, (One) FREE Chobani product, and (One) FREE Chobani drink coupon!

JewelScent Review - Giveaway Coming SOON!

Have you ever heard of JewelScent or Gemstra? Let's be honest, what girl doesn't want to get a two in one, also known as a JEWELRY candle or other product? First, I know most people LOVE candles and body essentials, and I definitely know most people love jewelry. So why not get a candle that will do both, make your house smell divine AND have a surprise piece of jewelry valued at anywhere from $10 and $1,000+.

I am with Gemstra, but today I am going to be promoting the JewelScent part of the company! The products are wonderful, ranging from bath bombs, to bar soaps, aroma beads, body scrubs and creams, to candles! I ended up placing a small order to have one of ALMOST every product on the JewelScent line. I received two Calm Lavender Body Creams, a Spring Meadow Body Scrub, a Love You a Latte Bath Bomb, an Aroma Bead (not pictured) and an Apple Orchard Candle. 

In this post, I am going to be talking about the Apple Orchard candle I received. First things first, it smells AMAZING! Crisp apples, autumn leaves, and crisp fall air is what this reminds me of. The aroma that it places in my entire basement with only burning it for a short period of one hour was delightful. Below I have shown pictures of the unboxing and burning of this candle. It is a great size and the bonus of having a piece of jewelry in it makes the $24.99 fee that much more worth it. 

After the three hours I had burned it, I was finally able to see the aluminum foil packet sticking out so I knew it was close to being revealed! However, it was so late that I had to go to bed. Upon the next morning, I started burning it instantly, again. After another 2 hours it was finally able to be pulled out. I grabbed myself a pair of tweezers, pulled firmly on the aluminum foil and it was out in a jiffy. At this point, I was beyond excited to open and find out what my size 7 surprise ring was going to look like. I gently wiped the wax off the packet so that I could open it without making a mess. Once I unwrapped the foil there lie a small ziploc baggy with my stunning piece in it! I couldn't see it too easily considering the bag was covered in wax, but I opened that, dumped the ring on my table and this is what I found.........

This stunning size 7 ring was inside my candle! First of all, it looks real, even though it's not. I have had tons of compliments on it, but let's not get ahead of the game. Once you open and reveal your piece, you'll find there is a tag on the piece that reveals the size (which you know prior to ordering unless you go the "surprise me" route when ordering your items. On the other side of the size, you'll find a code.. This code is a great way to find out how much your piece is! On the website there an option at the bottom to appraise your jewelry, where you'll type in this code and receive a message stating how much your piece was, in my case it was a $20 value. How awesome is that though? $25 on a candle, and my piece was worth $20, making the candle a $5 value! WOW!

The Bold Bee Review

          This blade is AWESOME! With extra emphasis on the awesome! First of all, who needs a pesky old beater pizza cutter, when you can have this? 

This 12" Stainless Steel Mezzaluna Blade from The Bold Bee is truly a blessing. Especially when needing to cut a watermelon or pizza. This blade is 12 inches long of sharp blade that fit across most home baked frozen pizzas. It is perfect for cutting giant watermelons instead of using a kitchen knife and not getting it perfect like you want. This will chop it fast, just rock it back and forth to cut your way through. 

The best part? Those pesky pizzas won't slide away while you are trying to cut through it because instead of rolling it you can just rock this once it's in the pizza. One easy and simple slice! The cover is great to protect the blade and protect your house from harm. It doesn't slip right off either, which is even better. I am absolutely in love with this cutter!

Wuteku Dash Phone Mount Review

Have you ever used your phone as a navigational system? I have, and I know how hard it can be when you don't have anywhere to put it. How hard it is to keep up with where your next turn is supposed to be, which direction, and approximately how long it is going to take to get there... all while trying to drive safe? I even have to deal with it falling from my lap, the console, or wherever it is at the time. NOT anymore! Not with my brand new Wuteku phone mount. 

I apologize in advance, but my fiance's phone was the only one available for this review and my phone takes better pictures, so I had to use his for the testing.

First of all, it comes with the mount itself, two magnets, and two extra adhesive strips. The mount is set up so that we can move or rotate the phone or device whichever direction you need to for your convenience! 

This was an extremely easy setup, there is a magnet to put in the case or battery area of the phone. The mount itself already has one strip adhesive on it, then there are two extra for when yours wears out. I opened up the back of Kyle's phone, simply placed the magnet in on that side, then placed the back on it and held it up to the mount magnet and it clung right to it. It is really strong, so it doesn't come right off, which couldn't be better. No more worrying about it falling again! 

Overall, I am extremely pleased with this product because I no longer have to worry about how I am going to multitask while driving.

Hello guys! My name is Kortney, I am super excited to be starting up a blog for the second time! First attempt was a fail because I ended up working more than I could spend time on here building a brand.... But now I am back, this time I have my boyfriend and potentially my best friend in a few months. I have always been a product reviewer, it's one of my many hobbies, as well as couponing, writing, and spending time with my beautiful niece. 

I have been with my boyfriend, and co-owner of this blog, Kyle for almost a year now and he has a wonderful son. We have been looking for a place to live to be able to take that next step together. We have 3 cats and would love to be able to expand to a bigger home to have room for more. 

I got the Sugar & Spice blog name from that beautiful little niece of mine. It just came to me one day because she's sweet, she's sassy, and everything in between! She definitely has a little personality of her own. 

I will be honest and mention that I mainly love to review children's items because of her and my "stepson!" However, reviewing items for Kyle and myself are definitely a nice bonus! 😉
